Preguntas frecuentes

Where is the Seville–Huelva train right now?

This live tracker shows exactly where the Seville–Huelva regional train is in real time, as well as the train running the other way, from Huelva to Seville. The data comes from Renfe’s live map and refreshes automatically every 30 seconds.

It’s handy if you’re about to catch the train, picking someone up at the station or simply want to know when the next one will pass through. That’s why we highlight the two stations in the Campo de Tejada area: Carrión de los Céspedes and Escacena.

What the live tracker shows

The train on the map

Every train moves along the real track: burgundy for trains heading to Huelva, teal for trains heading to Seville.

Countdown

The train’s next stop and how many minutes are left until it gets there.

Delays to the minute

Whether the train is on time or how many minutes late it is running.

Times at local stations

The estimated time the train will pass through Carrión de los Céspedes and Escacena, with any delay already included.

Full route

Every stop on the journey, the ones already made and the ones still to come, with the expected time at each.

How to follow the train in three steps

The tracker itself is in Spanish, so here is what each button means.

  1. 1

    Choose a direction

Tap Hacia Huelva (towards Huelva) or Hacia Sevilla (towards Seville) to see the trains running that way.

  2. 2

Tap a train on the map

You’ll jump straight to its card, showing the next stop (Próxima parada), the countdown and whether it’s on time.

  3. 3

    Open the route

Tap Ver recorrido y horarios (route and times) to see exactly where the train is and when it will reach each station.

Stops on the Seville–Huelva line

The train links Seville’s Santa Justa station with Huelva, crossing the Aljarafe, the Campo de Tejada and the Condado de Huelva. These are some of its stops:

  1. Sevilla-Santa Justa
  2. Benacazón
  3. Carrión de los Céspedes Campo de Tejada
  4. Escacena Campo de Tejada
  5. La Palma del Condado
  6. Niebla
  7. San Juan del Puerto
  8. Huelva

Not every train calls at every station. Each train’s card shows its exact stops.

Delays on the Huelva–Seville and Seville–Huelva trains

Each train card tells you how it’s running with a short sentence and a colour:

On time«El tren va en hora»: on time or up to 4 minutes late
Minor delayBetween 5 and 29 minutes late
Major delay30 minutes late or more

When the train is late, the card reads «El tren viaja con X minutos de retraso» (the train is running X minutes late). The times shown for upcoming stops already include the delay, so they are a reliable guide to when you should leave for the station.

Frequently asked questions

Why can’t I see any trains?

The tracker only shows trains that are running at that moment. If there are none, the next one may not have left yet or there may be no service at that time. Engineering works or incidents on the line can also mean trains are replaced by buses. As soon as a train leaves the station, it appears on the map.

How do I know if the Seville–Huelva train is delayed?

Each train card shows a sentence such as «El tren viaja con 11 minutos de retraso» (running 11 minutes late) or «El tren va en hora» (on time). The train number on the map also shows the delay, for example «+11′».

How often is the train’s position updated?

Every 30 seconds, without reloading the page. The position is sent by the train itself via GPS. If it loses signal on part of the route, the tracker estimates where it is from its last stop and says so on the card.

Which stations serve the Campo de Tejada area?

Carrión de los Céspedes and Escacena. Both are marked with a diamond on the map, and each train card shows when the train will pass through them.

Can I check timetables or buy tickets here?

No. This page is for following trains that are already running. For full timetables and tickets, visit Renfe’s official website.

Is this an official Renfe tool?

No. It was built by Diario de Tejada, a local news site, using the public data from Renfe’s live train map. The information is for guidance only: in case of any disruption, announcements from Renfe and the stations take precedence.
